Hi! I’m Megan, the creator of HoldStill :) I’m so happy you’re here!
The idea for HOLDSTILL found me during a trip to Hamilton Ontario, a friend and I came across a small pop-up of a small handmade photo booth where we could turn a photo of us into a magnet. It was simple, but I loved it. Of everything I brought home from that trip, that little magnet meant the most. It wasn’t just a reminder of where I had been, it captured who I was there with and a moment we got to share.
That experience stuck with me. It made me think about how many of our favourite photos end up buried in our camera rolls, and how different it feels when a memory becomes something we can actually see, share, and hold onto.
That little realization became HOLDSTILL with the goal of creating experiences that bring people together, capture the moments between them, and turn those memories into something physical that gets to live beyond the day itself.
